About

Staten Island is not new to graffiti or street art.  The forgotten borough has seen its share of paint covered walls and trains over the past 40 years since graffiti has flourished around the globe.  This site was built to showcase some of the rapidly increasing efforts of artists on Staten Island.  To start, we have made a map highlighting the 40+ murals along the North Shore of Staten Island.  Curated by Kwue Molly and designed by Marcus Allen and Projectivity, the map showcases some of the best of what Staten Island has to offer by way of public art along the North Shore (Bay St. and Richmond Terrace).

This site will continue to grow and be updated with new images, articles, interviews, videos, event listings, and more info based around Staten Island art scene.
